美国主流报媒针刺新闻话语(去)合法化策略研究

(De)Legitimation Strategies of Acupuncture Reports in American Mainstream Newspapers

以范利文(去)合法化理论框架为指导分析美国主流报媒针刺新闻报道(去)合法化策略的使用情况,发现美国报媒对针刺持有相对积极的态度,多使用权威化策略,将实验研究结果作为(去)合法化针刺的重要依据,较少诉诸中医药理论来解读针刺实践。建议新闻媒体重视科学研究结果,使用以权威化策略为主的多种合法化话语策略对外报道中医药,同时中医药学界应加强中医药循证医学研究,中医药翻译人员应推进中医药理论的科普化译介,不断提高中医药国际话语权,推动中医药国际传播事业发展。

(De)legitimation strategies used in acupuncture reports in American mainstream newspapers were analyzed under the guidance of Theo van Leeuwen's legitimation framework.It is found that the American news media had a relatively positive attitude towards acupuncture,frequently using authorization strategies,viewing experimental results as significant evidence to(de)legitimize acupuncture,and rarely interpreting acupuncture based on traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)theory.It is suggested that the news media attach great importance to the results of scientific research,and utilize a variety of legitimation strategies,particularly authorization,to report on TCM abroad,that TCM academia strengthen the evidence-based research of TCM,and that translators of TCM promote the pop-science translation of TCM theory,to jointly enhance international discourse power of TCM and promote the international communication of TCM.
