江苏常州华阳村明墓发掘简报

Excavation Report of Ming Dynasty Tombs at Huayang Village,Changzhou,Jiangsu Province

2017年4-10月,为配合永安河拓浚工程,对华阳村明代墓葬群进行了考古勘探和发掘。墓葬群分为东西两个片区,西区墓葬排列有序,为家族墓地;东部墓葬分布凌乱,为小型公共墓地。墓葬形制有砖室券顶墓、砖壁石顶墓、小型砖壁石顶墓和竖穴土坑墓。出土器物包括釉陶器、瓷器、银器、铜器和锡器等,其中瓷碗类型丰富,纹饰较为精美。根据墓葬形制及出土器物特征判断,墓葬年代大致为明代早中期。本次发掘为研究明代江南地区的丧葬习俗、墓葬形制和地域历史文化提供了新材料。

From April to October 2017,to facilitate a dredging and widening project of Yong'an River,an archaeological survey and excavation were carried out at Ming dynasty tombs at Huayang village.The tombs can be divided into two parts:the well-ordered western part is a family graveyard while the scattered distributed part is a small-scale communal one.Formats includes tomb with brick chambers and vaulted ceilings,tomb with brick walls and a stone roof,small-scale tomb with brick walls and a stone roof,and earth tomb with vertical opening.Unearthed objects include glazed pottery,porcelain,silverware,bronzeware,tinware and so on.Among them,porcelain bowls are in rich diversity with exquisite decorations.Based on the tomb formats and features of unearthed objects,the current author dates the tombs to early-to-mid Ming dynasty.This excavation provides new materials for the study of burial customs,tomb formats and regional history and culture during the Ming dynasty in the Jiangnan region.
