摘要
明代通俗小说《三宝太监西洋记通俗演义》以番国进贡之礼单与人物对话为载体书写西洋风物知识,这与以法宝兵器为中心的明代其他神魔小说的博物书写相区隔。礼单和对话叙事有效促成了小说特定情节结构之生成,深刻揭示了小说的叙述意图,有力展现了代表传统文言的明代笔记体小说融入白话通俗小说的文学史迹。礼单与知识性对话作为《西洋记》博物书写之特殊视角,在通俗小说博物叙事研究视域之下应得到重新审视和充分关注。
Popular Historical Romance of Voyage to the West,a popular novel of the Ming Dynasty,displays Western customs and objects through the carrier of gift lists and dialogues.This is different from other gods and demons novels with the theme of magic weapons.The advantage of gift lists and dialogues narratives is that they can effectively form the narrative mode of the novel,reveal the central idea,and show the process of translating classical Chinese into vernacular language.As the special perspectives of the knowledgeable narrative in the field of ancient popular novels,the gift lists and dialogues narratives should be re-examined and given full attention.
