Drawing upon the backdrop of the introduction of the Measures for Archival Management of Major Events and Emergencies,this paper delves into the archival management practices for significant sports events.It provides a comprehensive exposition of the definitions of archives pertaining to major events and emergencies,as well as those of major sports events.Furthermore,it examines the imperative of establishing an archival resource system for major sports events,which is pivotal for safeguarding historical records,supporting sports management,and perpetuating outstanding cultural legacies.The paper offers strategic recommendations for constructing such a system,encompassing aspects such as refining system guarantees,clarifying responsibility allocations,enhancing information technology utilization,fostering innovative development and utilization strategies,and bolstering team development.
