Local chronicles and archives are important components of China’s excellent traditional culture,carrying a special mission in inheriting civilization and serving the overall situation.Archival resources,as first-hand original records,provide an extremely important literary foundation and historical basis for the compilation of local chronicles.On the basis of sorting out the relationship between archive resources and local chronicle compilation,this article analyzes the important supporting role of archive literature in local chronicle compilation,and summarizes and extracts the innovative path of archive resources serving local chronicle compilation.In the new era,we must adhere to the principles of integrity and innovation,utilize digital intelligence to empower and promote the deep integration of archival and local chronicle undertakings,innovate in inheritance and prosper in development,and contribute to strengthening cultural confidence and promoting the innovative development of Chinese civilization.
