理工科研究生专业英语教学质量提升的改革探索

理工科研究生专业英语是十分重要的核心课程之一,是连接本科大学英语、专业基础课和研究生学术研究的重要纽带,在研究生后期从事科学实验研究获取前沿领域信息、巩固专业理论基础知识以及开展国际交流合作方面起到重要作用。该文主要探讨了理工科研究生专业英语课教学中存在的一些问题,并提出了解决问题的建议和改革策略,旨在通过课程改革探索对该课程教学质量的提升起到抛砖引玉的效果。同时,作者也希望通过提出的改革策略加强学生对专业英语课程的重视程度,激发学生学习的积极性,为我国培养更多具有国际视野且在相关领域拥有拔尖技术的优秀人才。

Professional English is one of the most important core courses for science and engineering graduate stu⁃dents.It displays an important link to connect undergraduate college English,professional basic courses,and post⁃graduate academic research.The study of this course is critical for obtaining advanced international information,consolidating basic knowledge of professional theory as well as conducting international social and cooperation when the students are devoted to scientific experimental research.Herein,we mainly discuss some important prob⁃lems that exist in the teaching process of professional English courses for graduate students of science and engi⁃neering.Then,we put forward some reform strategies to solve the problems,aiming to promote the teaching quality of the course through the exploration of curriculum reform.At the same time,we hope to strengthen the attention of students to it through the proposed reform ideas,arouse the learning enthusiasm and interest of the students,and cultivate talented students with both international vision and top-level professional skills in advanced tech⁃nology fields to serve our country.
