Clothing patterns play a role in embellishment and decoration,and are an indispensable artistic language in clothing design.They are also one of the most closely related forms of artistic expression to humanity.This paper first analyzes the basic theories of pattern design and clothing style;secondly,it explores the historical evolution of clothing pattern design,and understand the development status of clothing patterns;thirdly,it explores the technical methods of integrating pattern design with clothing style,aiming to provide suggestions for the innovative application of pattern design in modern clothing design;finally,it studies the orientation trend of pattern design on the clothing market,in order to meet the constantly changing demands of the times.
