With the progress and development of modern society,local culture is facing severe survival challenges.Based on the exploration of the realistic predicament of local culture,this study reveals the current situation of local culture,such as the phenomenon of cultural fault,the loss of cultural resources and the instability of cultural market through the in-depth analysis of the existing problems of local culture.At the same time,this paper puts forward the corresponding improvement strategy.First of all,we should strengthen the protection of local culture,and use modern technological means to digitally record,store and disseminate local culture to prevent it from disappearing or being forgotten.Secondly,strengthen the marketization and commercial operation of local culture,so that it can occupy a place in the competition of modern society.Finally,effective local culture education should be carried out to let more people know and understand local culture and improve its social influence.The protection and development of local culture is not only the maintenance of the diversity of human civilization,but also of great significance to social harmony and stability.
