陕西文学方言的“角色语”翻译研究——以《老生》日译本为例

Translation Study on"Role Language"in Shaanxi Literature Dialect—The Case of the Japanese Translation of Lao Sheng

陕西地域独特的乡土风情、村俗俚语的翻译难问题是制约陕西文学对外译介与传播的一个重要因素。日本语言学家金水敏提出的基于“角色语”理论的翻译研究,以人物对话语言为考察单位,以保持人物形象的一致性为翻译目标,为文学方言的翻译提供了新的研究范式。该文以贾平凹最新日译作品《老生》中的人物对话为考察对象,基于“角色语”理论框架中的“方言—角色语”翻译模型,分析方言要素如何被翻译,探讨“角色语”理论在文学方言翻译方面的可行性与有效性,为日语翻译教学实践中引入“角色语”理论提供依据。

The translation difficulties of Shaanxi literature,characterized by its unique regional rural customs and vernacular,are significant constraints on the external translation and dissemination of Shaanxi literature.The translation study based on the"role language"theory proposed by Japanese linguist Kanamizu Toshi takes the dialogue language of characters as the unit of analysis and aims to maintain the consistency of character images,providing a new research paradigm for the translation of literary dialects.This paper takes the dialogue of characters in Jia Pingwa's latest Japanese translated work Lao Sheng as the object of study,and based on the"dialect-role language"translation model within the framework of the"role language"theory,analyzes how dialect elements are translated.It explores the feasibility and effectiveness of the"role language"theory in the translation of literary dialects,providing a basis for introducing the"role language"theory perspective into Japanese translation teaching practice.
