摘要
This paper explores car culture in Chinese and Western films from a cross-cultural communication perspective.It examines the history and development of car culture in both Chinese and Western contexts,analyzes the symbolic characteristics of vehicles in these cultures,and discusses the evolving trends in cinematic representations of car culture.By contrasting the differences in the symbolic representation of vehicles in Chinese and Western cultures,the study reveals that research on the transmission of automotive culture in films elucidates the potential and impact of movies as a medium for cross-cultural communication.The cross-cultural transmission of automotive culture in films promotes interaction between cultural diversity and global values,offering valuable insights for the development of the film industry and the prosperity of social and cultural spheres.
