基于竞赛驱动的本科生综合能力培养探索与实践——以土木工程专业为例

摘要 新工科背景下,社会对应用型本科人才的培养提出了新的要求,高等教育应重视培养本科生的创新实践能力。当前应届生就业单位普遍反映本科生对知识的实际应用能力较弱,无法直接满足企业需求。因此,培养具备实践能力和创新能力的应用型人才成为当务之急。针对应用型本科生实践能力较差的问题,提出以学科竞赛为抓手,通过竞赛驱动培养本科生的综合能力,将学科竞赛与行业需求和创新能力培养有机融合,充分调动学生的积极主动性,在学生的综合能力培养方面取得了良好的实践效果。 In the context of the New Engineering disciplines,there has arisen a new set of requirements for the cultivation of undergraduate talents with an applied focus.Higher education institutions are expected to prioritize the development of innovative practical skills among undergraduate students.Presently,employers consistently report that recent graduates exhibit a deficiency in their practical application of knowledge,making them ill-prepared to meet industry demands directly.Consequently,there is an urgent need to nurture applied talents possessing both practical and innovative capabilities.To address the challenge of insufficient practical skills among undergraduate students in applied disciplines,a strategy centered around academic competitions is proposed.This approach leverages competitions to drive the enhancement of students'comprehensive skills by organically integrating subject-specific competitions with industry demands and innovation skill development.The implementation of this strategy has demonstrated significant practical outcomes in bolstering students'comprehensive skill development.
