党的十八大以来,习近平将海外侨胞、侨务资源和侨务工作置于治国理政视阈中加以考量,对“侨”与中华民族、中华文化、中国式现代化、中华民族伟大复兴的内在关系进行了全新阐释,并对侨情变迁、侨胞价值、侨务改革、侨联建设、侨乡文化、侨务资源等论题作出诸多原创性思想贡献,形成了习近平关于侨务工作重要论述。这一重要论述作为马克思主义统战学说中国化时代化的重要理论创新成果,从时代逻辑看,是对经济全球化的积极回应;从理论逻辑看,是对马克思主义统战学说和中国共产党侨务理论的继承创新;从历史逻辑看,是对党百年理侨成功经验的吸收借鉴;从实践逻辑看,是对习近平侨乡工作时期侨务论述的接续超越。
