残雪小说英译本的翻译风格

Translation Style of English Version of Can Xue’s Novels

通过自建残雪翻译小说语料库与汉英平行语料库,从词汇、句法两个层面对残雪6本小说英译本的翻译风格进行分析。研究发现,残雪小说译者注重译本的可读性与读者接受度,译本呈现出明显的简化特征;同时,残雪小说英译本力图再现残雪原作的独特语言风格,倾向于直译。

With the self-built corpus of Can Xue’s translated novels and the Chinese-English parallel corpus,the authors of this paper analyze the translation style of Can Xue’s six English versions of novels from the lexical and syntactic levels.It is found that the translators of Can Xue’s novels pay attention to the readability and reader’s acceptability,and the translation presents obvious simplification characteristics;meanwhile,the English translation of Can Xue’s novels tries to reproduce the unique language style of the original works and tends to be literal translation.
