This article takes YE Qianyu's dance figure paintings created in Sichuan Liangshan,and Xinjiang regions as examples to conduct an in-depth analysis of the artistic characteristics of the costumes in his Yi and Kazakh fi gure paintings.It summarizes and sorts out YE Qianyu's artistic features and profound infl uence in capturing the momentary beauty of dance movements,skillfully using clothing colors,and deeply depicting clothing texture and design techniques.
