伏生传书“济南自古是书城”。说起中国图书史,不得不提到一个人,那就是伏生。《史记·儒林列传》中记载,“伏生者,济南人也,故为秦博士”。相传伏生从10岁起就攻读《尚书》,“以绳绕腰领,一读一结,十寻(八尺为寻)之绳,皆成结矣”。(段成式《酉阳杂粗》)可见其用功之勤。
