“四面荷花三面柳,一城山色半城湖”,这是清代刘凤诰在大明湖沧浪亭题写的对联。四面荷花环绕,三面垂柳依依,一城山色葱茏,半城湖光激滟,构成了一幅充满诗意的山水画卷,这也是风光旖施大明湖的真实写照。大明湖位于济南城北部,有“众泉汇流,平吞济泺”之说。
