The summer of Yantai is a feast of lotus flowers.In lotus ponds,the delicate and vibrant lotus flowers stand upright over layers of plate-like emerald green lotus leaves.Their petals are either white like pure jade or pink like rosy clouds,emitting intoxicating fragrance.As a gentle breeze sweeps by,the leaves sway gently and the flowers dance with the wind,as if they are relating the romance and beauty of summer.Both the morning dew and the evening glow add a touch of poetic charm to the lotus ponds.
