Yantai Paper-cutting

剪纸,又称窗花、刻纸、剪画等,是一种“平面镂空艺术”,是以剪刀或刻刀在纸张或其他材料的薄片上剪出、刻出、制作出的平面艺术作品。2006年5月20日,剪纸被列入国务院公布的第一批国家级非物质文化遗产名录。2008年6月14日,国务院公布了第二批国家级非物质文化遗产名录与第一批国家级非物质文化遗产扩展项目名录,烟台剪纸被列入扩展项目名录。2010年9月30日,中国剪纸人选了联合国教科文组织审批的第四批人类非物质文化遗产代表作名录,“烟台剪纸”是其中的一分子。

Paper-cutting,also known as window paper-cut,paper engraving,and paper carving,is a form of"plane hollow-out art"that involves cutting or engraving plane artworks on thin sheets of paper or other materials with scissors or knives.On May 20,2006,paper-cutting was included in the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage list announced by the State Council.On June 14,2008.
