中华优秀传统文化孕育并塑造了中华文明,其核心内容与基本精神构成中华文明的精神标识和文化精髓。中国式现代化的历史使命是建设中华民族现代文明,而中华民族现代文明是中华文明的新时代拓展,是一个文明再造的过程,就此而言,中华优秀传统文化是中国式现代化文明逻辑的根脉。建设中华民族现代文明,必须以传承与创新中华优秀传统文化为前提和路径,因而,文明再造必须以守正创新为世界观和方法论。守正,首先是要守中华优秀传统文化之正;创新就是在守正的基础上,以“两个结合”为根本途径,让马克思主义成为中国的,中华优秀传统文化成为现代的,创造中国式现代化的文化形态。坚持守正创新以文化自信自强为必然前提和当然表征。以中国式现代化创造全新的人类文明形态,本质上是一个从文化自觉到文化自信再到文化自强的过程。
