In the Information-Centric Networking(ICN)architecture, the Name Resolution System(NRS)is responsible for establishing, maintaining, and publishing the mapping relationship between names and network addresses. The presence of multiple copies of content in ICN results in a“one-to-many”mapping relationship between names and addresses, presenting a challenge in determining the appropriate resolution address.In-network resolution, serving as a system-driven resolution model, integrates resolution capability within programmable network devices, necessitating address selection operations.Current address selection methods fail to offer simultaneous assurances for network and server load balancing.Conventional approaches like direct selection,round-robin,and other strategies may lead to resolution link congestion or uneven server load.To address these issues, this paper proposes an adaptive address selection method that fully leverages the network awareness and processing capabilities of SDN,integrating network status and address resolution frequency information, while achieving load balancing between the server and network links.Simulation results demonstrate the superiority of this method in terms of load balancing. Our approach provides new directions and insights for future research.
