区域服务贸易协定对制造业企业全球价值链国内链长的影响研究

Research on the Impact of Regional Trade Agreements in Services on the Domestic Production Stages of Global Value Chain of Manufacturing Enterprises

本文基于OECD—ICIOT投入产出表和中国海关数据库测算了中国不同贸易方式下制造业企业全球价值链嵌入长度指标,并运用多时点双重差分模型实证检验了区域服务贸易协定对制造业企业全球价值链嵌入长度的影响效果和作用机制。研究结果表明,区域服务贸易协定可以显著推动制造业企业全球价值链嵌入长度延伸,但因企业所有制、贸易方式、所属地区与缔约方制度质量不同存在差异。机制分析结果表明,区域服务贸易协定可以通过服务贸易成本、企业生产率与制造业服务化作用于企业全球价值链嵌入长度。进一步分析结果表明,区域服务贸易协定可以显著提升企业全球价值链的稳定性和安全性,增强全球价值链韧性。

Based on the OECD-ICIOT input-output table and the customs import and export database,this paper calculated the embedding position of manufacturing enterprises in the global value chain under different trade modes in China,and used the multi time point double difference model to empirically test the relationship between Regional Trade Agreements in Services(RTAS)and the embedding position of Chinese manufacturing enterprises in the global value chain,and further examined the impact of RTAS on the resilience of the global value chain.It is found that RTAS can significantly promote the position of manufacturing enterprises in the global value chain,but there are differences due to different ownership of enterprises,trade modes,regions and the quality of systems of contracting parties.The results of mechanism analysis show that RTAS can affect the embedded position of enterprises in the global value chain through trade costs,enterprise productivity and the level of manufacturing servitization.Further analysis shows that RTAS can significantly improve the stability and security of the global value chain of manufacturing enterprises,and enhance the resilience of the global value chain.
