代谢相关脂肪性肝病与2型糖尿病的相关性研究进展

Research progress on the correlation between metabolic-associated fatty liver disease and type 2 diabetes mellitus

代谢相关脂肪性肝病(metabolic-associated fatty liver disease, MAFLD)和2型糖尿病(type 2 diabetes mellitus, T2DM)是两种常见的代谢性疾病,在全球范围内均有较高的个体患病率,二者合并的患病率呈上升趋势。MAFLD与T2DM之间存在着复杂而紧密的联系,互为因果,共同促进心血管疾病、慢性肾病、肝脏相关并发症及肝外恶性肿瘤的发病。本文从流行病学、危险因素、病理生理机制、治疗等方面介绍了MAFLD与T2DM之间的相关性。研究表明二者存在强烈的双向关系,MAFLD是T2DM的独立危险因素,并且这种风险随着肝脏脂肪沉积的增加而增加,同时,T2DM也可促进MAFLD的发生发展。因此,在防治MAFLD的同时,也要重视T2DM的管理,以期提高患者的整体健康水平。

Metabolic-associated fatty liver disease(MAFLD)and type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM)is two common metabolic diseases with high individual prevalence worldwide,and the combined prevalence of the two diseases is on the rise.There is a complex and close association between MAFLD and T2DM,which is reciprocal causation and jointly promotes the incidence of cardiovascular disease,chronic kidney disease,liver-related complications and extrahepatic malignancies.This article introduced the correlation between MAFLD and T2DM from the aspects of epidemiology,risk factors,pathogenesis and therapy.The research shows that there is a strong bidirectional relationship between them.MAFLD was an independent risk factor for T2DM,and this risk increased with the increase of liver fat deposition.Moreover,T2DM also promoted the occurrence and progression of MAFLD.Therefore,while preventing and treating MAFLD,we should also pay attention to the management of T2DM to improve the overall health of patients.
