High-quality employment is a crucial indicator of talent cultivation in universities,and it is imperative to promote the integration of disciplines and majors with employment as the orientation.The“separation”and alienation between discipline construction and major development in universities have become obstacles to achieving high-quality employment.This paper takes high-quality employment as the central point,comprehensively analyzes the reasons for the disconnection between discipline and major construction,constructs a relational system between discipline construction,major development,and high-quality employment,clarifies the practical path for the coordinated development of disciplines and majors,and facilitates the high-quality employment of graduates and the internal development of universities.
