How the financial system in the new era can promote the transformation of old and new driving forces in the marine economy,and empower high-quality development of the marine economy,is a hot topic of widespread concern in society and research by scholars.Combining the theory of new quality productivity and financial theory analysis,it is shown that financial types such as blue finance,green finance,technology finance,industry chain finance,and digital inclusive finance in the financial system can promote high-quality development of the marine economy by supporting marine technology innovation and promoting the transformation and upgrading path of the marine economy industry.Further case studies have found that Guangdong Province has innovated financial instruments by introducing a series of financial support policies,continuously meeting the credit needs of the marine industry,and leveraging the function of optimizing financial resource allocation.Therefore,by accelerating the development of marine technology finance to promote marine technology innovation,innovating marine financial models to accelerate the transformation and upgrading of the marine industry,and building a diversified financial system to support high-quality development of the marine economy,we can fully leverage the empowering effect of the financial system.
