In contemporary Chinese painting creation,the color of new Gongbi painting exhibits characteristics markedly different from traditional Gongbi painting.This paper focuses on this issue,conducting an in-depth study on the application of color in new Gongbi painting in three parts.The first part explores the visual language evolution of Gongbi painting from traditional to contemporary times,analyzing the historical background,evolution of techniques,and the influence of cultural factors on color usage.The second part employs case studies to specifically elucidate representative works by several new Gongbi painters,detailing their innovative techniques and unique styles in color application.The third part discusses the impact of color aesthetics in new Gongbi painting on contemporary Chinese painting creation,including shifts in color concepts,technique integration,and insights for the future development of Chinese painting.
