新工科背景下提高教学类仪器设备利用率的探索与实践——以吉林大学工程训练中心为例

摘要 实践教学能够帮助学生巩固理论知识、提高实践创新能力、培养劳动精神,在新工科背景下卓越工程师的培养过程中发挥着重要作用。教学类仪器设备是实践教学的基础,提高其利用率、挖掘最大可用价值,是当前各高校亟待解决的问题。为探索更加贴合基层教学单位的仪器设备利用率提高路径,该文以某高校工程训练中心为例,从微、小、中、大型仪器设备的角度出发,通过课内改革打造共享空间、课外扩展建设共享平台,以及发挥社会服务协同作用的方法,达到强化仪器设备管理、推动实践教学改革、提升人才培养质量的目的。 [Objective]Practical teaching is pivotal for consolidating theoretical knowledge,improving practical and innovative abilities,and fostering a labor spirit among students.It plays an important role in cultivating outstanding engineers in the new era,especially in the context of emerging engineering.At the core of practical teaching are teaching instruments and equipment,whose utilization rate and maximization of value are critical issues for universities to address.To make these explorations pertinent to grassroots teaching units,the Engineering Training Center of Jilin University is used as an example.[Methods]This study examines the utilization rates of micro,small,medium,and large-scale instruments and equipment,focusing on the following three key areas:in-class activities,out-of-class activities,and social services.The challenges in improving the utilization rate of teaching instruments and equipment include scattered operational training and difficult sharing usage,scant management systems and chaotic open sharing protocols,isolated equipment information,and the absence of appointment platforms,as well as unclear job responsibilities and weak personnel strength.To address these challenges,the university has reformed its teaching mode by integrating online courses,in-class practice,and comprehensive after-class training.Furthermore,an all-weather sharing space for instruments and equipment has been established to actively respond to the two-way pressure of reducing class hours and increasing equipment utilization.Out-of-class strategies to maximize the benefits of instruments and equipment in scientific research and personnel training include compiling training manuals,creating two-dimensional codes for equipment information,building a sharing platform for instruments and equipment within the school,establishing a digital management system,and strengthening the construction of the teaching team.In terms of social services,through cooperation with enterprises,colleges of continuing education,and primary and secondary schools,the university promotes industry-university-research collaboration and various social activities.This improves the utilization rate and social value of instruments and equipment.[Results]The Engineering Training Center of Jilin University actively implements various measures to improve the utilization rate of teaching instruments and equipment.These efforts have led to significant improvements in teaching quality,innovative achievements,and broad influence.The synergy between improving utilization rates of teaching instruments and equipment and improving the abilities of engineering training centers underscores the mutual reinforcement of these goals.[Conclusions]In general,effective ways to improve the utilization rate of teaching instruments and equipment include creating shared spaces through in-class reforms,building shared platforms out of class,and leveraging social services for synergistic benefits.These measures are vital in fully leveraging university resources,strengthening instrument and equipment management,promoting practical teaching reforms,and improving the quality of personnel training.
