四词词块对“一带一路”新闻话语的构建分析——基于系统功能语言学视角

An Analysis of the Construction of the“Belt and Road Initiative”News Discourse by 4-Gram Lexical Bundles—From a Systemic Functional Linguistic Perspective

结合系统功能语言学,从功能与结构上对中、英、美三个国家主流媒体“一带一路”报道中的四词词块进行分析。在词块功能方面,中国媒体多采用立场词块构建“一带一路”话语,传递双边共赢、中国贡献、可持续发展的语义,而英美媒体的立场词块则表达了自己对国家的利益诉求以及对“一带一路”的相关评价。在词块语法结构方面,中国媒体多使用名物化名词词块构建“一带一路”信息,英美媒体则更多使用介词词块来传递与“一带一路”主题相关的时间、地点等修饰性内容。

By deploying Systemic Functional Linguistics,this research analyzes the 4-gram lexical bundles in mainstream media reports from China,the UK,and the US from functional and structural perspectives.Regarding the functional perspective,Chinese media significantly utilizes stance bundles to construe the discourse on the“Belt and Road Initiative”,conveying the meaning of mutual benefits,China s contribution,and sustainable development;in contrast,British and American media express their call for national interests and relevant evaluations towards the“Belt and Road Initiative”.In terms of the grammatical structure,Chinese media employs considerable nominalized noun-related bundles to construe information about the“Belt and Road Initiative”,while British and American media frequently use preposition-related bundles to modify the“Belt and Road Initiative”in regards to time,place,and other factors.
