摘要
徐悲鸿是近现代著名的画家和教育家,然而其颇具特色的工艺美术理念却鲜为人知。徐悲鸿以“国势急需、用求其实”作为学习和引入西方现代工艺美术的主旨,其工艺美术理念的内容包括从为学之道和国势之需来提倡工艺美术,以纯正美术为参照阐述工艺美术的实用性特性,以用求其实的态度指出发展工艺美术策略三个方面。这些有关工艺美术的认知是徐悲鸿倡导的“智之艺术”的有机组成,对于中国工艺美术史以及教学研究具有重要意义。
Xu Beihong is a famous modern painter and educator,but his distinctive concept of arts and crafts remain little known.Xu Beihong emphasized“national urgency and practical needs”as the main theme of learning and introducing modern Western arts and crafts,the content of his arts and crafts concept encompass three key aspects:advocating for arts and crafts based on academic principles and national needs,explaining the practicality of arts and crafts with pure art as a reference,and proposing development strategies for arts and crafts with a pragmatic attitude These perceptions of arts and crafts are an integral part of the“Art of Wisdom”advocated by Xu Beihong,holding significant implications for the history of Chinese arts and crafts as well as for teaching and research.
