广藿香油及其成分皮肤刺激性探讨

Study of Skin Irritation of Patchouli Oil and Its Components

目的对广藿香油及其成分进行皮肤刺激性评价。方法参照《化妆品安全技术规范》(2015年版)中皮肤刺激性/腐蚀性试验的方法,对广藿香油及其成分广藿香醇和广藿香酮进行家兔多次皮肤刺激试验。结果广藿香油原液、26%和20%浓度的广藿香醇对家兔皮肤有中度刺激性,10%广藿香油、15%和10%浓度的广藿香醇对家兔皮肤有轻度刺激性,5%浓度的广藿香醇和广藿香酮对家兔皮肤无刺激性。结论基于安全性考量,使用时广藿香油应稀释到其广藿香醇不高于10%的浓度。

OBJECTIVE To evaluate the skin irritation of patchouli oil and its components.METHODS According to the method of skin irritation/skin corrosion test of Cosmetic Safety Technical Specification of China(version 2015),patchouli oil and its components,patchouli alcohol and patchoulenone,were used as test samples on rabbits for multiple skin irritation test.RESULTS Patchouli oil,26% and 20% patchouli alcohol showed moderate skin irritation respectively.10% patchouli oil,15% and 10% patchouli alcohol showed mild skin irritation while 5% patchouli alcohol and patchoulenone showed no skin irritation.CONCLUSION Based on the safety considerations,patchouli oil should be diluted until the concentration of its patchouli alcohol not higher than 10%.
