Xi Jinping’s important exposition on scientific and technological innovation is an important part of teaching contents of“Introduction to Dialectics of Nature”,and there are fewer previous studies on the text-based teaching regarding the innovative teaching language, neither the approach to integrating of the scientific and technological spirit in the important exposition on scientific and technological innovation into the course. In order to better integrate the texts of important discourses into the teaching of the curriculum, four paths can be initiated:(1)theoretical approach,to speak deeply, thoroughly, and vividly about the important expositions;(2)methodological approach,to guide the students to establish a correct professional attitude by methodological choices;(3)Problem-orientated approach,to guide the students to form a complete understanding of the important expositions, and to grasp the significance of their practical guidance;(4)Normative approach,to highlight the connotation of the professional spirit and the norms of scientific and technological innovation community in the important expositions. The community norms are emphasized in the important exposition. The above will improve the relevance of the important exposition as teaching content for science and engineering students and strengthen the value-led role of the Introduction to Natural Dialectics course.
