The concept of community is an important component of Marxist theory.As the founders of Marxism,Marx and Engels pursued the value of comprehensive and free development of human.Through the examination of natural communities and the critique of illusory communities,they clarified that the future form of community would be a true community.In classic works such as“On the Jewish Question,”“Economic and Philosophic Manuscripts of 1844,”“The German Ideology,”and“The Communist Manifesto,”Marx and Engels described the construction logic of communities as“natural community—illusory community—true community,”showcasing the developmental trajectory of their community thought and indicating the fundamental direction for achieving comprehensive and free development of human.The concept of a community with a shared future for humanity is based on the community thought of Marx and Engels.It also enriches and develops their ideas,representing a contemporary theoretical achievement in the adaption of Marx and Engels’community thought to Chinese context.
