摘要
1992年《博物馆体验》出版,2012年再版为《博物馆体验再探讨》。两书相隔的20年里,作者福尔克在互动体验模式的基础上进一步深化,提出了情境学习模式与身份相关的参观动机。此外,为区别博物馆学习与学校学习,福尔克创建了“自由选择学习”概念。这些理论最终构成了该书的基础和框架,融汇在行文脉络之中。由此,《博物馆体验再探讨》可谓是福尔克这二十年来研究的集大成之作。另一方面,福尔克在书中对博物馆价值的追问也为后续出版的《博物馆的价值:提升社会福祉》埋下了伏笔。透过该书,我们将得以管窥福尔克博物馆观众研究的发展轨迹,从而更好地理解其之于博物馆观众的疑问与回答。
The Museum Experience was published in 1992,and in 2012 the book was republished as The Museum Experience Revisited.In the two decades between the publication of the two books,Falk has deepened the interactive experience model and proposed the contextual model of learningand identity-related motivation.Additionally,Falk developed the concept of“free-choice learning”to distinguish museum learning from school learning.These theories ultimately form the basis and framework of the book,integratig in the context of the book.as such,The Museum Experience Revisited is a masterpiece of Falk s research over the past two decades.Further more,Falk s questioning of the value of museums in this book also sets the stage for the subsequent book,The Value of Museums:Enhancing Societal Well-Being.Through this book,we will be able to see the trajectory of Falk s research on museum visitors and gain a deeper understanding of his questions and answers about them.
