中国文化外译背景下文学翻译课程思政的实施路径

On the Approach of the Political and Ideological Education in Literary Translation Courses Within the Framework of Translating Chinese Culture into English

文学翻译,尤其是中译外,是“中国文化走出去”的重要一环。中国文化外译背景下,文学翻译课程更需要结合思政元素,将能体现中国传统文化的翻译内容,以恰当的形式融入课堂教学。开展文学翻译课程思政,可以展现中国文学的魅力,增强学生的文化自信与文化使命感;厚植文学翻译素养,提升学生讲好“中国故事”的能力;充实文学翻译课程内容,强化翻译课程的学科功能。文学翻译课程思政应做到:中译外与外译中兼顾;传统文学经典与现当代文学作品并重;静态文本与动态呈现相结合。深化文学翻译价值、拓宽文学翻译范围、转变文学翻译教学方法、革新文学翻译课程评价方式,是实施文学翻译课程思政的有效路径。

Literary translation,especially from Chinese to foreign languages,is an important part of the“Chinese culture going global”initiative.In the context of Chinese cultural translation,literary translation courses need to combine ideological and political elements,and incorporate translation content that reflects traditional Chinese culture into classroom teaching in an appropriate form.Carrying out ideological and political education in literary translation courses may successfully showcase the charm of Chinese literature,enhance students’cultural confidence and the sense of cultural mission.It can cultivate literary translation literacy and enhance students’abil⁃ity to tell“the China story”as it is.Furthermore,it can enrich the content of literary translation courses and strengthen the disciplinary functions of the translation courses.The ideological and political education in literary translation courses should achieve a balance be⁃tween translation from Chinese to foreign languages and translation from foreign languages to Chinese.We should give equal impor⁃tance to both traditional literary classics and contemporary literary works,combine static text with dynamic presentation.Deepening the value of literary translation,expanding the scope of literary translation,transforming the teaching methods of literary translation,and in⁃novating the evaluation methods of translation courses are effective ways to implement ideological and political education in literary translation courses.
