The spirit of scientists is essential to the growth of young people,the development of society,and the construction of a strong nation in science and technology.Museums have the strength in spreading the spirit of scientists,as they own physical and spatial bases for conducting science education,gathering the exemplary and spiritual power of scientists.However,museums also face problems such as inadequate organization of scientific materials,lack of diverse forms of dissemination,insufficient influence,and less reflection of the spirit of scientists in science education.Therefore,it is particularly important to explore the path of spreading the spirit of scientists.In this regard,museums should delve into their collections and relevant materials in history,and create scenarios based on the work of scientists to guide students in practical exploration.On this basis,they should tell the stories of scientists,complete the cultivation of scientific spirit,and promote the development of museum culture.The exhibition and teaching activity themed on"Light up the Radiance of Museums with Your Fingers"at the National Natural History Museum of China has had some new exploration on this path,which can provide reference for museums to better play their educational functions and improve the quality of science education.
