人工智能采纳对重污染企业绿色创新的影响研究

A Study on the Impact of Artificial Intelligence Adoption on Green Innovation of Heavy Pollution Enterprises

基于2011—2021年中国重污染行业上市公司的数据,检验人工智能采纳对企业绿色创新的影响。研究发现,重污染企业的人工智能采纳程度越高,企业的绿色创新水平就会越高,企业的ESG表现在这一路径上发挥中介的作用。人工智能的采纳对于重污染企业的可持续发展具有显著潜力,特别是在当前环保法规日益严格和社会责任要求日益增加的背景下,企业的ESG(环境、社会和治理)表现,成为人工智能采纳促进企业绿色创新的重要途径。

Based on the data of listed companies in China's heavy pollution industry from 2011 to 2021,the impact of artificial intelligence adoption on corporate green innovation is examined.It is found that the higher the degree of AI adoption of heavy polluting firms,the higher the level of green innovation of the firms,and the ESG performance of the firms plays a mediating role in this path.AI adoption has significant potential for the sustainable development of heavy polluting firms,especially in the current context of increasingly stringent environmental regulations and increasing social responsibility requirements,and firms'ESG(environmental,social and governance)performance,which becomes an important pathway for AI adoption to promote firms'green innovation.
