This paper aims to explore the impact of construction engineering change management on construction cost and the corresponding strategy adjustment.Through the analysis and study of many practical cases,it is found that change management not only has a direct impact on the project cost and schedule,but also adopts it as a turning point to optimize the project benefits at a specific level.The scientific implementation of change management is helpful to effectively curb the expansion of project budget and improve operation efficiency under the premise of ensuring stable quality.Change management has a two-way impact on the progress of the project,which may cause delays and may also push forward the construction progress.The core goal of this paper is to build a targeted solution template to face the challenges caused by the engineering changes in the construction industry.
