Based on the actual situation of a certain project,this article first analyzes the importance of cost control in modern construction economic management;Secondly,in response to the problems in the cost management process,a management model centered on the whole process engineering cost approach has been proposed;Finally,the application methods of advanced technologies such as BIM in cost control were elaborated in detail,aiming to improve the quality and efficiency of modern construction economic management and promote the long-term stable development of the construction industry.
