With the development of urban-rural integration,public space design has ushered in unprecedented opportunities and challenges.Through in-depth analysis of the design needs of public space under the background of urban-rural integration,and combined with actual cases,this paper analyzes the current situation of public space design under the background of urban-rural integration development,and puts forward a series of optimization suggestions,including strengthening the green ecological characteristics of public space,promoting multifunctional design,and integrating local characteristics and cultural elements,in order to provide reference for relevant fields.
