As globalization becomes increasingly prevalent,the demand for language services has shown an unprecedented growth,and higher and more comprehensive requirements have been put forward for the key competencies of translation talents.Based on the macro background of social needs,this paper deeply explores the dynamic development trend and improvement mechanism of the key competencies of translation talents.Through a comprehensive analysis of market demand,technological progress,career development and other factors in the translation industry,the key competency structure needed by modern translation talents and its connotation are revealed.
