论《岭南逸史》的寄托性质

黄岩虽生活于国力强盛的清中期,但生不逢时、命途坎坷,终生郁郁不得志。由此他“发愤著书”,将寄托之意注入《岭南逸史》之中:通过书名的时空象征,将理想化身为主人公,借助主人公的求妻行为、文本中的文化继承及小说结尾的深意,表达自己的感慨,尤其是不被重用的失望和落寞。可见,《岭南逸史》包含有黄岩的“微言大义”,其并非一般人所谓“才子佳人”式“思想庸俗,格调低下”的普通小说,而是一部失意文人的寄托之作。
