The Development Characteristics and Promotion Path:The Logic and Evolution of Undergraduate Applied Universities in China from the Perspective of Historical Institutionalism

从历史制度主义深层结构、动力机制和路径依赖分析的视角,回顾我国应用型本科大学的历史演进,探析其时代性、地方性、行业性和渐进性等发展特征,并在此基础上提出新时代应用型本科大学应坚持:紧盯时代特征,着力培养高素质应用型人才;把牢动力机制,持续促进特色化高水平办学;打破路径依赖的樊篱,内、外部创新协同联动,推动高质量新发展等路径走向。

This article,from the perspective of historical institutionalism and evolution path analysis,explores the historical development of applied universities and summarizes the characteristics of applied universities,including their timeliness,regionalism,integration,openness,and gradual progress.Based on these characteristics,it proposes a high-quality development strategy for applied universities in the new era.This strategy emphasizes the importance of solidly cultivating high-quality applied talents,promoting distinctive and high-level education,building a"double-qualified"faculty team,and expanding an internationalized development path.
