With the progress of science and technology as well as the enhancement of environmental protection awareness,the traditional building methods have been difficult to meet the multiple needs such as high efficiency,energy saving and environmental protection.As a new building model integrating traditional construction industry and advanced manufacturing technology,prefabrication technology is gradually becoming a research hotspot and application trend in the field of modern architecture.This paper sorts out the definition and characteristics of prefabrication technology,and deeply discusses its importance and development trend in modern architecture,in order to promote the development of construction industry informatization.
