供应链数字化建设如何赋能企业国际化——基于供应链创新与应用试点工作的准自然实验

How does the Construction of Supply Chain Digitalization Empower Enterprise Internationalization—A Quasi⁃natural Experiment from the Pilot Program for Supply Chain Innovation and Application

在日益激烈的国际竞争下,利用数字技术赋能国内供应链外延发展,实现企业高质量“走出去”,对加快构建双循环新发展格局具有重要意义。本文基于供应链创新与应用试点工作构建外生冲击,以2011—2022年上市企业数据为研究样本,探究了供应链数字化建设对企业国际化水平的影响。研究发现,供应链数字化建设显著提升了企业的国际化水平,并且该结论在进行一系列稳健性检验后仍然成立。机制分析结果表明,供应链数字化建设主要通过信息溢出、供应链整合以及风险承担能力提升机制助力企业开展海外业务,实现企业的国际化发展。异质性分析显示,供应链数字化建设对企业国际化的促进作用依赖于数字基础设施建设和知识产权保护,同时能缓解市场分割对企业国际化的抑制作用。本研究为中国企业充分利用现代供应链体系建设,培育国际化竞争力提供了新的理论参考与经验证据。

In the face of intensifying international competition,leveraging digital technology to empower the extension of domestic supply chains and realize high⁃quality“going out”of enterprises is crucial for accelerating the construction of a new development paradigm with domestic and international dual circulation.Using exogenous shocks from the pilot program for supply chain innovation and application,this paper examines the im⁃pact of supply chain digitalization on the internationalization of enterprises,drawing on data from listed companies from 2011 to 2022.The results show that supply chain digitali⁃zation significantly enhances the internationalization level of enterprises,and this conclusion remains valid after a series of robustness tests.Mechanism analysis reveals that supply chain digitalization primarily promotes enterprises to expand overseas business and achieve internationalization through information spillovers,supply chain integration,and enhanced risk⁃taking capabilities.Heterogeneity analysis indicates that the positive impact of supply chain digitalization on enterprise internationalization depends on the construction of digital infrastructure and intellectual property protection.Additionally,it mitigates the negative effects of market segmentation on enterprise internationalization.This study pro⁃vides new theoretical insights and empirical evidence for Chinese enterprises to leverage the construction of modern supply chain systems and enhance international competitive⁃ness.
