摘要
β1,4半乳糖基转移酶1(β1,4galactosyltransferase1,B4GALT1)是β1,4半乳糖基转移酶家族成员之一,主要生物学功能是在高尔基体上将尿苷二磷酸半乳糖中的半乳糖转移到末端的β-N-乙酰葡糖胺残基上,催化形成糖复合物。作为跨膜蛋白分布在细胞膜上,B4GALT1还参与细胞黏附、免疫反应以及胚胎着床等生物学过程,并且在血管生成和细胞凋亡等生理过程中发挥重要作用。B4GALT1异常表达与多种恶性肿瘤的临床进程相关,并在癌变过程中起关键作用。本文主要综述B4GALT1在恶性肿瘤中相关生物学功能及表达调控的最新进展,以期为恶性肿瘤的防治提供理论依据。
β1,4 galactosyltransferase 1(B4GALT1)is a member of the β1,4 galactosyltransferase family, and its main biological function is to transfer galactose from uridine diphosphate galactose to terminal β-N-acetylglucosamine residues on the Golgi and to catalyze the formation of glycoconjugates. As a transmembrane protein distributed on the cell membrane, B4GALT1 is also involved in biological processes such as cell adhesion, immune response, and embryo implantation, and plays an important role in physiological processes such as angiogenesis and apoptosis. Abnormal expression of B4GALT1 is associated with the clinical progression of many malignant tumors and plays a key role in carcinogenesis. This article mainly reviews the recent progress of the relevant biological functions of B4GALT1 in malignant tumors and its mechanism of expression regulation, which provids a theoretical basis for the prevention and treatment of malignant tumors.
