Chinese Medicinal Asparagus cochinchinensis is derived from the dried root of Asparagus cochinchinensis.This traditional bulk medicinal material is recognized for its dual use in medicine and food.In this paper,the biological habits,seedling breeding techniques,field selection and preparation,cultivation management,pest control,and other cultivation practices of Asparagus cochinchinensis are introduced in detail.Furthermore,the procedures for the extraction,drying,and storage of the medicinal materials are discussed in detail to provide theoretical and practical guidance for the production of Chinese Medicinal Asparagus cochinchinensis.
