Survey on Medical Ethics Awareness among Undergraduate Medical Students and Strategies for Medical Ethics Education under the Background of New Healthcare Reform

目的:探讨新医改背景下医学本科生医德认知水平及医德教育对策。方法:选取滨州医学院附属医院五年制临床医学专业见习阶段及实习阶段的本科生为研究对象,发放医德教育评价、医德认知调查问卷及以投诉医疗服务问题为主的医患冲突案例,分析调查结果。结果:大部分受访者认为以投诉医疗服务问题为主的医患冲突与医德水平有关,并且医德水平主要与自我价值观及是否接受医德教育有关。受访者均认为在见习实习阶段需要加强医德教育,并且大部分受访者认可医德教育导师制。结论:医学本科生基本具备正确的医德认知理论水平,医德教育需要与临床专业实践教学相融合,医德教育导师制是医学教育模式的有益探索。

Objective:This study aims to explore the level of medical ethics awareness among undergraduate medical students and propose strategies for medical ethics education under the background of new healthcare reform.Methods:Undergraduate students in the five-year clinical medicine program during their internship stages at the Affiliated Hospital of Binzhou Medical University were selected as the research subjects.Questionnaires on medical ethics education evaluation,medical ethics awareness,and medical-hospital conflicts related to complaints about medical services were distributed and analyzed.Results:Most respondents believed that medical-hospital conflicts related to complaints about medical services are associated with the level of medical ethics,which is mainly influenced by their personal values and whether they have received medical ethics education.Respondents unanimously agreed on the need to strengthen medical ethics education during internship stages,with a majority supporting the role of medical ethics education mentors.Conclusion:Undergraduate medical students generally possess a basic understanding of medical ethics theory.Medical ethics education should be integrated with clinical practice teaching,and the mentorship model for medical ethics education is a beneficial exploration in medical education models.
