Research Progress on the Guiding Principles and Standards of Practice for the United Nations Decade on Ecosystem Restoration

生态系统退化仍是当今全球面临的重要环境问题,而科学完善的生态系统恢复指导原则和实践标准是生态恢复研究的重要内容。2021年至2030年为“联合国生态系统恢复十年”,“联合国十年(UN-DEC)”战略合作方共同协商制定了《生态系统恢复十项原则》和《生态系统恢复实践指导标准》。为了更好地规范生态恢复活动的开展,文章回顾了生态恢复发展历程并分析其现阶段存在的主要障碍,对制定的原则内容以及原则指导下的实践标准进行解析,并阐述今后生态恢复活动应重点关注的方向,以供行业内参考。

Ecosystem degradation stands as a critical global environmental challenge,establishing scientific and robust guiding principles,along with practical standards for ecosystem restoration,constitutes a pivotal aspect of ecological restoration research.The period from 2021 to 2030 is designated as the United Nations Decade for Ecosystem Restoration(UN-DEC),during which the UN-DEC has devised the“Ten Principles that Underpin Ecosystem Restoration”and the“Standards of Practice to Guide Ecosystem Restoration”in collaboration with its strategic partners.In order to better standardize the implementation of global ecological restoration activities,this article delved into the developmental trajectory of ecological restoration,scrutinized prevailing challenges,and provided insights into the formulated principles and associated practical standards.Furthermore,this article elaborated on the directions that should be focused on in future ecological restoration activities for the industry s reference.
