Does Entering National High-tech Zone Improve the Development Quality of Scientific and Technological Enterprises?

实现经济社会高质量发展需要以企业发展质量予以支撑,文章以南京市为例,基于2015一2020年高新技术企业火炬统计数据,探讨了入驻国家高新区对科技型企业发展质量水平有何影响。研究表明:入驻国家高新区能够显著提升科技型企业的发展质量。进行替代变量和使用PSM模型的稳健性检验,证实这一结论依然成立。进一步分析发现,入驻国家高新区对不同类型企业的影响呈现异质性,入驻国家高新区主要提升了较小规模企业、初创期企业的发展质量。但从所有制来看,入驻国家高新区对集体控股、国有控股企业发展质量的促进效果更好。入驻国家高新区是提升科技型企业发展质量的助推剂,应积极发挥国家高新区对企业发展质量水平的促进效应。

Achieving high-quality development of the economy and society requires the support of enhancing the quality of enterprise development.Based on the torch statistical data of the high-tech enterprises from 2015 to 2020,this paper takes Nanjing as an example and discusses the impact of entering the national high-tech zone on the development quality level of scientific and technological enterprises.The research shows that entering the national high-tech zone can significantly improve the development quality of science and technology enterprises.After conducting robustness tests using alternative variables and the PSM model,it is confirmed that this conclusion still holds.Further analysis shows that the impact of entering the national high-tech zone on different types of enterprises shows heterogeneity.Entering the national high-tech zone mainly improves the development quality of small-scale enterprises and start-up enterprises.However,from the perspective of ownership,entering the national high-tech zone has a better promotion effect on the development quality of collective controlled and state controlled enterprises.Entering the national high-tech zone is a booster for achieving high-quality development of scientific and technological enterprises,and the role of the national high-tech zone in promoting the quality level of enterprise development should be actively played.
