摘要
介绍了一种S波段大功率宽带脉冲行波管研制过程及其应用。该管工作带宽为2~4 GHz(一个倍频程),脉冲输出功率大于6 kW,效率大于35%,最大工作比为6%,二次谐波比小于-3 dBc。文章进行了性能设计分析,采用了多项关键技术,解决了返波振荡抑制、高导流系数电子枪设计以及聚焦系统设计等技术难点,给出了实际测试结果。
The development process and application of an S-band high-power broadband pulsed traveling wave tube are introduced.The working bandwidth of the tube is 2-4 GHz(one octave band),the pulse output power is greater than 6kW,the efficiency is greater than 35%,the maximum working ratio is 6%,and the second harmonic ratio is less than-3 dBc.Performance design analysis is conducted,and multiple key technologies are adopted to solve technical difficulties such as backflow oscillation suppressing,high conductivity electron gun designing,and focusing system designing.Actual test results of the tube are provided.
