On March 23,2024,at the 23rd Shanghai International Congress of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery,a Neurofibromatosis Type 1 and Skin and Soft-Tissue Tumors Forum was unveiled.This forum aimed to foster multidisciplinary cooperation to standardize the diagnosis and treatment of neurofibromatosis and skin and soft-tissue tumors,attracting leading experts and scholars from across the nation.It served as a pivotal platform for sharing advancements in pathology,clinical practices,and surgical techniques related to these conditions,alongside discussions on standardized care and precision medicine,marking a significant step forward in the field.
